Spanish Blind Open 2023
ISPS HANDA 2023 SPANISH OPEN BLIND GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

BGS will be hosting the Spanish Open from 9 June - 13 June 2023. This 36 hole MEDAL event will take place at Elba Palace Golf Resort, Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain.
There are direct flights from most major European cities and those applying from outside should consider transfer flights if entering the competition.
We would like to invite international and local players to apply for entry to the limited number of places available in this event.
The 18-hole course has a par of 72 and a total distance of 6,069 metres. It has three lakes with a river meandering between them. The 17th is a par-5 which climbs to a raised green, while the 18th is a par-4 dogleg which drops down towards the clubhouse.
The rest of the course is relatively flat
The entry fee will be 150€ per player. Initial entries close on 15 April 2023.
Friday 9 June - Arrive at Fuerteventura Airport
Saturday 10 June - Practice round
Sunday 11 June - 1st Round of Championship
Monday 12 June - 2nd Round of Championship
- Gala Dinner & Prize-giving
Tuesday 13 - Depart
We plan to offer the following prizes:
Best Gross: B1, B2 & B3
Best Net B1. B2 & B3
Overall Net (all players combined): 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Women's Gross & Net: Winner (only if there are 3+ entrants)
Stableford Division: Winner
We have a limited amount of buggies and these will be prioritised to B1 then anyone with a medical condition.

You will be contacted by BGS shortly after the closing date for initial entries to confirm your place in the Spanish Open. Please do not send entry fees before this.
