2023 ISPS Handa Australian Blind Golf Open

If you have a certified International Blind Golf Handicap and Eyesight Category, Blind Golf Australia would like to invite you to participate in the 2023 ISPS Handa Australian Blind Golf Open at the Rosebud Country Club on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th of March 2023.
Blind Golf Victoria will also be conducting their Victorian Open on Monday the 6th and Tuesday the 7th March 2023. Both events will be played at the Rosebud Country Club.
ACCOMMODATION
Sponsored accommodation for all State and International competitors will be at the Fairways Resort Motel 207 Boneo Road, Rosebud. Ph. (61) 3 59502111.
Twin and single rooms have been pre-booked from the afternoon of Tuesday the 7th of March 2023 to Saturday morning the 11th of March 2023.
If you are attending the Victorian Open you will be liable for the cost of accommodation from the afternoon of Sunday 5th March 2023 to the morning of the 7th of March 2023 (2 nights).
The costs are: $169.00 per room. It would be preferable if you booked your accommodation directly with the hotel and pay on arrival (please advise the hotel you are with the Blind Golf Australia group).
EVENTS:
The ISPS Handa Australian Blind Golf Open will be a stroke event. If there are 4 or more interested players there will be a 36-hole Stableford Event.
Prizes for the 2023 ISPS HANDA Australian Open Blind Golf Championship will be awarded in accordance with IBGA Guidelines and in the case of any play offs or ties, IBGA policy and procedures will be implemented.
The participation fee for the Australian Open is $200.00 AUS which covers hotel costs for 4 nights plus continental breakfast, green fees, lunches, welcome morning tea, trophy presentation and travel to and from the venue.
Motorized Carts are at a cost of $40.00 per day.
Please indicate on the participation form if you require continental breakfasts during your stay.
Transport to and from venue times to be advised.
Participation fees can be paid directly into the Blind Golf Australia bank account; The details are on the entry form downloaded below.
Both events will be held at Rosebud Country Club.

• Wednesday 8th Practice/Rest Day
• Thursday 9th Day 1 Australian Open
• Friday 10th Day 2 Australian Open
• Saturday 11th Departure
The welcoming morning will be held on Thursday the 9th and everyone is required to attend at 8:00am.
The event will then commence at 9.00am on Thursday and at 8.30am on Friday.
Lunches will be available on both days after the first nine holes.
Motorized Carts are available at a cost of $40.00 per day. Please send the payment for the Cart with your participation fee. Please do not go to the pro shop for the cart keys as they will be available at registration.
The trophy presentations will commence after the Tournament Director has checked all cards. Catering will be provided during the presentation.
