RESULTS
The Austrian Blind Golf Association hosted the fourth Austrian Blind Open from 2nd to 4th September at the Golfpark Mieminger Plateu in Tyrol.
The beautiful weather was not just a joy for the players from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy and Austria, but also for the Guides who witnessed stunning views of the mountain scenery at every whole. The Golf course itself with its wide fairways was very much appreciated by the players.
Good scores and a visit to the Stottelalm with a breathtaking mountain panorama after the first tournament day led to an almost vacation-like feeling, rather than feeling like competing in a tournament.
Austrian Gerhard Bergant, additionally to being able to look back on a successful tournament, won B2 gross and the net overall price, while Karin Becker claimed the Ladies gross price.
Mirko Ghiggeri from Italy won the runner-up net overall.
