Competition Countback Rules for IBGA Sponsored Events

Member associations are permitted to specify that a playoff will be used to separate winners of different categories. If this approach is preferred it will be necessary for the host association to fully stipulate (in advance) how the playoff is to operate.

However, it is recognized that in the majority of cases it will not be practical to hold playoffs. When playoffs are not used associations are required to proceed as indicated in the downloadable form.
